Launching an airdrop? List it free or promote it to CoinGeography readers, with tasks and tracked links.
Host your airdropAn airdrop is a distribution of tokens or other rewards to wallets that meet a project's criteria, such as using its product before a snapshot, providing liquidity or completing tasks.
Use only the claim page on the project's official website, check the URL yourself, use a separate wallet, and never share your seed phrase or approve unlimited token spending.
Joining is usually free, but claiming on-chain costs network (gas) fees. Anyone asking you to pay or send crypto to receive an airdrop is running a scam.
In many countries airdropped tokens are taxable income or a taxable gain when sold. Rules differ by country, so check with a local tax adviser.
Abstract, an Ethereum layer 2 from the Pudgy Penguins team, gives XP and badges for using apps on the chain. No airdrop has been confirmed.
