Argentinian and former Manchester City legend Sergio Cun Aguero’s post-retirement reinvention continues when he teams up with Sandbox. The idea is to build ‘The Kuniverse’, a virtual world of soccer-centric games. Developed at Eter Studios, the game’s metaverse is slated for release on his November 6th with a collection of Kun NFTs.
Kun Aguero Anyone with even the slightest interest in football needs no introduction. He started his career at Indempiente in Argentina. From there, he signed for Atlético Madrid before moving to the Premier League with Manchester City, ending his career earlier than expected at Barcelona on the advice of doctors.
After retiring, he rose to fame again, becoming a Fifa 20 streaming star on Twitch and a loyal following as a player.

Kun Aguero is no longer playing his beautiful game after retiring at the end of 2021 due to illness. However, he is keen to continue engaging with his loyal fans, old and new, and sees this partnership with Sandbox as a natural progression.
Sandbox is a metaverse built on the Ethereum blockchain and one of the leading Web3 companies involved in creating the metaverse and the future of games and entertainment. He contributed a metaverse space to the project and took to Twitter to celebrate the new partnership.

Kuniverse’s first release will include a massive virtual soccer stadium where players can indulge in soccer-related games, dance parties, and Argentinian cuisine.

There are 5 rarities in the NFT collection. Sakka-kun, E-kun, Future-kun, Robot-kun, and Special-kun each have their own unique avatars representing different periods of his illustrious career. These include his time as a player at Manchester City’s Athletico Madrid.
