Vintage photo NFT platform, focus blockhas announced a new NFT drop featuring 333 photos from its legendary “Movie Star News” collection. In effect, fans will have the opportunity to collect legendary movie artifacts and own a piece of cinematic history.

Founded in 1938 by brothers Irving and Paula Klaw, the collection consists of Hollywood stills that have shaped popular culture for decades. From Scarface to James He Bond to Star Wars, the collection includes iconic images of celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin, Audrey Hepburn, and Jack Nicholson.

The NFT collection, titled “Hollywood: From the Golden Age to the First Blockbuster,” is set to launch later this month. To create an NFT, a buyer must first sign up for a whitelist. Then each wallet allows him to create 1 his NFT for 0.5 ETH and gas fee.

Past Experiences in Focus Block NFT Space

This isn’t the first time Focus Bloc has stepped into the world of NFTs. Prior to coming, the team had already launched a successful NFT collection in collaboration with the French-language weekly news magazine Paris Match. 120 vintage photographs by famed French photographer Jean-Claude Deutsch featured 23 celebrities including David Bowie, Brigitte Bardot, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Michael Jackson.

These photos were taken from the 1960s to the 1990s and capture these celebrities at the peak of their fame. This collection launched in his January and currently has 0.7 ETH on his OpenSea floor, and his recent sale of 0.8 ETH in early April had a lifetime volume of 31 ETH. Of his 120 collection, only 15 of his NFTs are currently for sale.
